Toots Hibbert made his earthly transition

The man known as the Jamaican James Brown, a Reggae icon Toots Hibbert died at the University Hospital of the West Indies in St Andrew on Friday evening. The legendary singer was admitted to the hospital last week Monday and has been in a medically induced coma since his passing Friday evening.
The family is asking for privacy at this time as they are going through a very difficult period. We extend our deepest condolences to all the family ad friends feeling the loss of such a great man. I was very fortunate to cross paths with the singer in Virginia after a performance. I’ll never forget the way corrected me in pronouncing “Toots” as you can see in the video below from 2010. It was a great conversation on the tour bus. Rest in power!
