Reggae Icon Mr. Ernest Wilson Made His Earthly Transition
Written by adminVibe on November 4, 2021
Founding member of the Clarendonians, Ernest Wilson made his earthly transition at the Kingston Public Hospital Tuesday November 2nd, 2021 at the age of 69. As for the actual cause of death, it’s not exactly clear but we do know he had been dealing with a series of health issues for an extended period. In interview with “Big Stone” in Barbican Jamaica almost a year ago Mr. Wilson spoke about his health and the challenges he’s been facing with his physical health. He spoke about the swelling in his foot, and how he needed funds to go to Cuba and have it worked on again because they were the ones that reduced the swelling for him in the past. He also mentioned he was experiencing blurry vision due to an eye problem.
Condolences to the family and friends. His music will surely live on like most classic Reggae music does.
Ernest Wilson will be remembered for plenty music but the 1968 classic “Undying Love” would have to be arguably the most popular in his catalog.
