Mr. Vegas Ready To “Settle The Score” With Bounty Killer
Written by RasMahddy on September 24, 2020
In Reggae Dancehall business stage show clashes, diss tracks, and all these kind of things are nothing new. It’s very rare that you see two artists on this level ever come to war. But as they say one day teeth, and tongue shall meet. We all know Mr Vegas is a very outspoken person. Anyone that has followed Vegas for the past few years can testify he has had lots of interesting things to say. He’s no stranger to controversy but this one might be his most controversial battle of his career. Recently Mr. Vegas has come straight forward via social media to express his ill feelings towards he has towards Bounty Killer. During an Instagram post Mr. Vegas shed light on how the war begin 20 years ago between he, and Bounty Killer because of Elephant Man and a misunderstanding that happened at “Sting” one of Jamaica’s biggest stage shows in the early 2000’s. We couldn’t find the original post from Mr.Vegas. I’m not saying it was removed or what… 🤔 We just can’t find it now, so we used a third-party source but the facts are clear. Check out the video below for the details.
Since releasing the post via social media Mr. Vegas has now recorded a new track dissing Bounty Killer entitled “Testify”. One of the most interesting lines in the song is right in the hook “Speak your truth dem can’t reply” which refers to Bounty Killer not being able to respond due to his contract with Digicel. To make it clear, because of the Covid-19 pandemic many artists are struggling financially because of massive shutdowns around the globe. Mr. Vegas is saying Bounty can’t respond because he doesn’t want to cause any conflict with his Digicel contract because currently it is a major contribution to his income right now.
