The Killer of Ricky Trooper’s Daughter has been captured

(ReggaeVibeMedia.com) – On Monday, Bridgeport, Connecticut local police reported that Derrick Francis the man accused of killing his fiancée, 23-year-old Brianna Destiny McKoy who was the daughter of legendary sound system selector Ricky Trooper, had been captured.

Derrick Francis, 41, was detained in Ohio and when he is returned to Connecticut, he will be charged with killing Brianna Destiny McKoy, according to Capt. Kevin Gilleran, the Bridgeport Police Department’s public information officer. The bond amount was $3 million. According to Gilleran, Francis was being held in Ohio as a wanted criminal pending extradition.

Police said that at the time of her death, Francis, also known as Ainsley Forbes, was dating McKoy. In the past, the pair had been involved in incidents, according to Gilleran. According to him, McKoy’s death was the result of “domestic violence homicide.”
