He was scheduled to perform with Steel Pulse and Jesse Royal at the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater. Despite his absence, the show went on with the band’s guitarist taking over most of the singing duties. Amlak Tafari, the band’s longtime bassist, rallied the crowd by saying, “For 49 years David Hinds has given you his voice.
