Richie Pooh fr Silverhawk vs Banton from Raw Deal

(ReggaeVibeMedia.com) – First of all this was a historic “encounter” between two giants in the business, but I would not call this an official Sound clash. There are a few differences in a real clash. Richie Pooh and Silver Hawk Sound System has more popularity around the world than Raw Deal out of Baltimore, but let me tell you one thing about Raw Deal and B’More based on personal experience. There’s a reason why they are called Raw Deal! Plenty have tested and ended up with a Raw Deal, aka beat down, aka Sound Dead. Always remember #1. It’s not were your from, it’s were your at. Richie Poor was in Baltimore one of the baddest places on the planet earth! With that you have to understand the Jamaican Sound System representing that area has to be bad also!

If there’s one thing that was learned in this encounter is that Jamaican based sound systems should never under estimate the foreign sound systems. Those little tricks like playing foreign artist pon dubplate might work when your on the island, but it may not go as well when your outside of Jamaica. Richie Poo just learned that the hard way. Jimmy Cliff, Billy Ocean, and Super Cat are the artist Silver Hawk couldn’t use to easily kill Banton from Raw Deal Sound like they’ve done to many others in the past.

Raw Deal Sound System has withstood the test of time. This encounter was just another notch in the belt for Banton. He understands the science behind Sound System killing, therefor nobody can just come to Baltimore and think because they are “Whoever” they are going to easily just take down Raw Deal. In the video you’ll see Richie Poo thought it was going to be easy that why he called out Banton, but then he realized he had his hands full when his big Jimmy Cliff didn’t work. He really was startled when his Billy Ocean didn’t do anything for him. Then when Banton cursed saying “we don’t give a fxck about Billy Ocean” he took that to heart. When he realized there was nothing he could do to reverse this unofficial beating he was getting, Richie Poo started with the antics about how Banton diss him and his cigarette smoking, and cursing his Billy Ocean dubplate. That doesn’t even sound like a legitimate argument a selector that’s been playing that long would make.

In closing I would say to Richie Poo you unofficially got a beating from Raw Deal. If you want save face I would run it back in a real clash just to show your still the Big Bad Silver Hawk, or just fly off from one continent to the other like your Garnett Silk Dub says.
