Koffee Leads All Nominees For The 40th International Reggae And World Music Awards

The nominees are in and Koffee leads them all with five nominations in various categories. The next closest are Sean Paul, and Kabaka Pyramid with three nominations. This years special awards will honor Hon. Minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange, OJ, OD, CD, MP, with the Marcus Garvey Humanitarian Award. Special Philanthropist Awards will be presented to Josef Bagdanovich and Usain Bolt.
These and plenty other awards will be presented May 7th, 2023 at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica. The public voting is open until April 15th, 2023 so logon to IRAWMA.com for all the details on how you can place your vote. This year, for the first time, IRAWMA is celebrating the best of two-years, 2021 and 2022, as last year’s ceremony had to be postponed.
There are about 40 nominees and Special Awards given in 38 categories. All nominees and voters are urged to subscribe to IRAWMA on YouTube before choosing a candidate or casting a ballot. The IRAWMA voting system will automatically reject any duplicate votes, therefore only one vote per individual will be accepted.
The historic annual IRAWMA will be accessible in person for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. The 38th and 39th IRAWMA events were virtually broadcast and televised on numerous national TV Stations during the pandemic.
