Charly Black Brings Dancehall Fever to Nairobi for Weekend Concert Series

(ReggaeVibeMedia.com) — Jamaican dancehall star Charly Black touched down in Kenya this weekend for a series of concerts, sending Nairobi's massive reggae and dancehall fan base into a frenzy.

The "Gyal You a Party Animal" hitmaker's visit underscores East Africa's status as one of dancehall's most loyal touring markets. Kenyan fans have embraced Jamaican music for decades, and a marquee name like Charly Black playing Nairobi is a major moment for the city's scene.

From sold-out shows to street dances, the weekend is a reminder that dancehall's global footprint runs deep — and Nairobi remains one of its most passionate outposts.
