Cardi B has withdrawn from her October 18 headline set at BZR Weekend Jamaica, her representatives told Billboard on October 8, giving no reason. The show at Kingston's National Stadium was billed as her first stadium performance in Jamaica. Organizers have since suspended ticket sales with no refund details posted, while Spice, Keyshia Cole, and other acts remain on the bill.

(ReggaeVibeMedia.com) Cardi B will not be taking the stage at BZR Weekend Jamaica. The rapper's representatives told Billboard on October 8 that she will not perform at the festival's headline concert on Sunday, October 18, at Kingston's National Stadium — just ten days before showtime. No reason was given for the withdrawal.

"Cardi B will not be performing at BZR WKND Jamaica on October 18, 2026," her representatives said. "Cardi appreciates the love and support from her fans in Jamaica and hopes to see them in the future."

The booking had been one of the year's biggest music stories in the Caribbean. The set was billed as her first stadium show in Jamaica and her first Caribbean stadium headline performance, coming off her Little Miss Drama Tour earlier this year. Her manager, Kelvin Santiago, had hyped the date at the festival's media launch in August at the AC Hotel in Kingston. "She's very excited. It's her first stadium show that she's ever done and her first show here. So, we're excited. Can't wait," he said at the time.

Since the announcement, organizers have suspended ticket sales on the festival's official page, with no refund information posted for ticketholders. Questions about the festival's status, ticketing, and the rest of the weekend were directed to the organizers, who had not publicly responded when the first reports came out.

The rest of the lineup remains in place. Dancehall queen Spice is the festival's host, with Keyshia Cole, Malie Donn, Ding Dong, Stalk Ashley, and Shaneil Muir among the performers. The weekend kicks off with a welcome party on Friday, October 16, followed by a beach party on Saturday, October 17.

BZR Weekend has weathered storms before — organizers postponed the 2024 edition after Hurricane Beryl and honored tickets for the rescheduled date. Whether that playbook applies this time remains to be seen. For now, thousands of fans are waiting on answers, and all eyes are on Kingston.
