It’s another succesful year in the books for Groovin in the park 2018. Roy Wilkins Park was the perfect venue once again for the thousands of patrons who came out to support the big show.

Annual attendees of the hugely popular annual festival were being treated to a monumental list of reggae and R&B heavy hitters including R&B legend Babyface, Busy Signal, Romain Virgo, Capleton, and Damian Marley.

It seemed as if the show could not had been any smoother than it did this year. After the misfortunate events of last year with Busy Signal he showed up in his all white as if to make the statement that “all white” makes. Romain Virgo took control of the place as if he’d been born for this. Capleton still brining the full energy that he consistently brings when he performs. Honestly I don’t know how much longer he can keep up these kinds of performances. As many of the greats such as Dennis Brown, closing out Reggae Sunsplash Damian “Junior Gong” Marley brought his Stony Hill Live catalog out to inspire another staging of Groovin in the Park. After the many years of success I would expect next year to be no less.
