Romain Virgo has grown into one of Jamaica's most beloved artist since winning Digicel's Rising Stars competition in 2007. He has been given the nickname "Little Beres" by his peers. One of Romains first hit releases "Mi Caan Sleep"  shares the same  "Feel Good Riddim"  on the Penthouse label as Beres Hammond's huge hit "I Feel Good."

This will be the third studio album reslease for Romain since his debut self titled album release in 2010 through VP Records. His debut album did hit the Billboard Reggae chart but no album has ever done as well as his current release "Lovesick" which has already topped the Billboard Reggae chart.

"Lovesick" is a sure collectors choice featuring hits like "Stay with me" a Reggae rendition of Sam Smith's hit song, and "Trouble" which is also featured on "Strictly the best" VP Records annual album known for featuring Reggae's biggest hits.

On the track "Hold On" the production is very simple yet smooth making it easy for listeners to hear why they call Romain "Little Beres." His voice naturally strong making it simple for him to take his voice to certain ranges other singers struggle to reach.

In another way Romain compares to Beres is amount of lovers anthems in their catalog of hits. Overall the term "Lovesick" best describes this musical journey Romain takes his listeners through on this album. It's good quality Reggae at it's best in the era.

VP Records has continued to be a part of quality Reggae music. When you see the VP records label associated with Romain Virgo's brand quality is expected which was received in the Lovesick album.
