Plagiarism has landed upcoming entertainer Shenseea in hot water. The female deejay has come under heavy criticisms following new information that Vybz Kartel’s Loodi was high jacked by the young singjay.
Yesterday, Vybz Kartel’s team dropped the bomb shell, via the incarcerated deejay’s Vevo channel on YouTube with the release of a solo version of “Loodi,” revealing that the song produced by Elvis Redwood’s “So Unique Records” was never a collaboration!”
Listening to Vybz Kartel’s original song, it is clear that Shenseea copied Kartel’s lyrics to Loodi. But did Shenseea know that the lyrics belonged to Vybz Kartel? What was the producer’s role? Why wasn’t Vybz Kartel credited? And is this poor management by Romeich Entertainment?
While we ponder these questions, efforts by Music News to get a comment from Elvis Redwood So Unique Records CEO were futile.
Shenseea who is signed to Romeich Entertainment was unavailable for comment, while Romeich had no comment.
All this comes following a recent interview by Romeich who gushed that his artist Shenseea writes her own lyrics.
In relating news, social media has been buzzing with several memes clowning Romeich and Shenseea.
